The key to a successful Google Ads buyer campaign is how the campaign was set up at the beginning. Most companies take shortcuts and set up your campaign with the least possible effort, and perhaps check your actual results once a month for 30 seconds if you are lucky.

With marketing professionals, this is known as a “set it and forget it” account.  You don’t want to be one of those.

Prime Buyer Leads will always set up your Google Ads using SKAGs – Single Keyword Ad Groups. That is a much more powerful way of setting up a campaign right from the beginning.

For example, let’s say that you have 100 buyer keywords total that you are targeting. Most companies would just go ahead and dump all 100 keywords into one Ad Group. Think of an Ad Group as a box that you store things in, in our case we are storing keywords. Instead of organizing their keywords, our competitors literally just drop them into the one box all mixed together. It’s inefficient and messy, and the only reason it is done this way is pure laziness.

Then, on top of that, they have maybe 3-4 TOTAL ads total for all 100 keywords in that box (Ad Group). The problem with that is how do you write effective ad copy and test it if you are using the exact same copy for 100 different keywords?

You can’t.

Well, you can, it just doesn’t work very well and is a waste of money. But……

It’s super easy to set up an account that way, so that’s why companies do it. They take 5 minutes to set up your account, turn it on, and check in once a month for 30 seconds if you are lucky.

We use SKAGs, which when compared to what our competitors are doing, is the difference between a 4th of July roman candle and a Space X rocket.

This means, if we had those same 100 keywords, we would build out Ad Groups with only ONE keyword in each ad group. That’s it, only one.  Then, for every single keyword, we are going to write EIGHT unique ads. Not 3-4 ads TOTAL that ALL of your keywords have to rotate through.

In our example of 100 keywords, instead of only having 3-4 Ads in total for all of these keywords, we will have 8 ads in total for every 100 keywords. That’s 800 total ads running for 100 keywords.

All of our ads are unique, and all very specific to EXACTLY what you are offering when our future clients are searching for it on Google.

While our competitors are A/B  or A /B/C testing, PSL is always A/B/C/D/E /F/G/H testing.

The reason we do that is then we can customize each individual ad with the keyword name they searched for in the Ad title itself. We want to show them an ad for exactly what they just searched for right?

That’s how you dominate your market with Google Ads. To do that we have to use SKAGs, which work very well. It’s just extremely difficult and time-consuming to set up and manage.

Every single day, we look at each individual keyword, and ad, to see how they are performing. If the cost per lead is too high, we kill the keyword.  If any of our unique ads are not performing up to expectations we immediately write brand new ad copy or kill the ad in its entirety.

Why pay $20 per lead for a particular keyword when you can pay $4? You should not have to.  The problem is, if your real estate ad management company is not present in your Google Ads account every single day, that $20 you spent without generating any leads will quickly turn into $40.  Then $80, $160, $320, $640 all without generating any leads.  These are known as runaway keywords, which we enthusiastically eliminate the moment we see them.
